Hawaiian Fonts This server uses Unicode font rendering technology called GlyphGate to render the Hawaiian ‘okina and kahako on these pages. This technology should render the proper Hawaiian diacriticals whether you have the proper fonts loaded or not. The fonts are not downloaded and installed on the user's machine. Rather, they are rendered on the server and delivered embedded in code on the web page. Some browsers or operating systems are not Unicode-aware and this software will ask to install a very small plug-in so that those browsers can handle the Unicode fonts. If you are experiencing trouble seeing the Hawaiian diacritcals in our text, please use one of these links to download the appropriate GlyphGate plug-in you need for your browser. Please complete the installation by running the FontEnabler Installer. You will find it on your desktop, or where ever you chose to save it. After successful installation, you may need to quit and restart your browser, or click the reload button in order to properly view the pages.
